Description: Cousins of Sichuan pepper, Sansho berries are known to be excellent natural preservative for meat and fish. The berries are red because of the harvest period which is in October, and not during spring when the berries are still green.

Notes of Ruby Grapefruit, lemon et lemongrass, rose wood.

Red berries can be used in a pepper mill, they’ll bring freshness and acidity to your dishes and dessert such as fruit salad, fish, etc. and go perfectly with fatty dishes such as foie gras.
