Braised chicken with mikan juice

Ingredients for 4 people

  • 8 chicken wings
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 200 g of onions
  • 8 button mushrooms
  • 400 ml of mikan juice
  • 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
  • A few slices of orange
  • 1 branch or rosemary

Preparation

1. In a fry pan, heat up olive oil and crushed garlic over low heat. Once the oil is flavored, remove garlic. Braise the chicken, seasoned with salt and pepper before hand, until the skin is golden brown. Set aside in a corner of the fry pan. Brown the onions and mushrooms on the other side of the pan. Add the garlic back.

2. Mix soy sauce and mikan juice together. Pour into the fry pan and cook everything together over medium heat. When it reaches a boil, skim and cover to cook for 20 minutes. Remove the lid and reduce the cooking sauce.

3. To plate the dish, put the chicken and vegetables on a plate, add a bit of sauce. Garnish with orange slices and rosemary.
