Description : This sake is made with senbon nishiki rice cultivated in the Hiroshima prefecture. The producer selects the rice grains with low protein in order to create a sake with a pure flavor, without deterioration. Indeed a high level of protein pollutes the sake flavors. It has a fruity and slightly sweet flavor, typical of ginjo sake.

Located at the foothills of mount Iwataki in Hiroshima, Umeda Shuzo is a small brewery founded in 1916. To brew sake, Umeda Shuzo uses pure and abundant groundwater, drawn 60 meters below ground level as well as local ingredients. Indeed, the brewery uses Senbon-Nishiki rice and Ginjo yeast, both produced in the Hiroshima region. Sake brewed by Umeda Shuzo have been recognized several times on a national but also worldwide scale and are brought to you by Umami for you to discover new flavors.
