Flavor : This rice has a mild and light flavor that complements all types of fillings, whether fish, vegetables, or other ingredients. It retains moisture well without being overly sticky, making it easy to handle and delicious even when cold.
Use : With salmon, tuna-mayo, umeboshi, or kombu, onigiri offers countless delicious filling combinations, each more flavorful than the last.
Instructions : Measure 75 g of dry rice per person. Rinse the rice several times, gently rubbing it until the water runs clear. Once washed, add water: for 1 part dry rice, add 1.2 parts water. “Create earth, create human”, such is the motto of Agri Yamazaki since its creation in 1996. Caring for the environment, the company implemented an organic production that granted Agri Yamazaki several prizes, including one given by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries in 1999 and 2009. With the concept of giving back to the rice field what it gave, Agri Yamazaki re-sow the bran obtained from harvested rice, using it as a natural and organic fertilizer.
