Description : Bancha, or "ordinary tea," is the second most consumed green tea in Japan after Sencha. Loved for its lightness, mild flavor, and simplicity in everyday life, it comes from the same tea plant as Sencha but is harvested later and from the lower leaves of the tree. This Bancha is blended with Hojicha (roasted green tea) and soybeans from Fukui, which are carefully roasted. It delivers a simple and authentic flavor, inspired by Eiheiji Temple, the birthplace of Zen Buddhism in Fukui Prefecture.

Flavor : Gentle and lightly roasted, this tea strikes a perfect balance between the fresh, vegetal notes of Bancha and the nutty flavors of Hojicha with roasted soybeans.

Use : Hot: Steep 1 bag in 200 ml of hot water for 1 minute. Cold: Place 1 bag in 200 ml of water, let steep for about 3 minutes, and enjoy chilled.
