Description : Bancha, or "ordinary tea," is the second most consumed green tea in Japan after Sencha. Loved for its lightness, mild flavor, and everyday simplicity, it comes from the same tea plant as Sencha but is harvested later and from the lower leaves of the tree. This tea combines Aki Bancha, harvested during the last autumn season, with roasted soybeans grown in Fukui Prefecture. Packaged in convenient tea bags, it delivers an authentic flavor inspired by Eiheiji Temple, the birthplace of Zen Buddhism.
Flavor : Light and vegetal notes from the Aki Bancha blend harmoniously with the roasted, nutty flavors of soybeans.
