Description : Matcha is finely milled green tea rich in vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and amino acids.

Flavor : Herbal flavor rich in umami and cafeine.

Use : This matcha is best used for cooking, pastries (cakes, macaroons), ice cream, chocolate... Matcha always prefer a low temperature cooking to keep all its flavors, colors and health benefits.

However, if you would like to consume it as a beverage, : 2g of matcha for 7cl of water - Water temperature : 80°C - Brewing time : whisk quickly with a bamboo whisk (chasen).

Our Japanese tea supplier is a company based in Uji (Kyoto), founded in 1978 but whose history dates back to the 17th century, during the Edo period. The ancestors of the company's president were tea merchants who acted as intermediaries between growers and wholesalers. As this trade disappeared, the President decided to become a wholesaler by buying tea from all over Japan directly from the tea growers. Our supplier's teas are all organic and mainly grown in Uji, but also in the island of Kyushu which has large fields of teas.

Je n'aime pas faire ma Karen mais là c'était décevant par rapport aux autres produits Umami. Testé en latte et qualité franchement moyenne. Amer, imbuvable sans sucre. Un bon matcha ne doit pas être aussi amer et surtout être bien vert, là ça tirait légèrement vers le jaune ce qui est mauvais signe. À n'utiliser qu'en pâtisserie sinon vous allez penser détester le matcha alors que c'est juste que ce n'est juste pas un matcha fait pour la boisson.

Bonjour, Nous vous remercions pour votre retour sur ce produit. En effet, il s'agit d'un matcha biologique destiné à une utilisation en cuisine comme nous le précisons sur la fiche produit. La mention sur celle-ci du mode de préparation a pu vous induire en erreur et nous allons remanier la fiche produit afin qu'elle soit plus claire. Ce matcha supérieur supporte mieux la cuisson et donnera une bonne saveur de matcha à vos pâtisseries (cookies, tiramisu). Pour une utilisation en latte ou en pâtisserie sans cuisson (glace par exemple) nous vous recommandons le matcha premium. Enfin, pour une préparation traditionnelle, émulsionné avec de l'eau, préférez le matcha impérial. Nous espérons que les autres produits de votre commande vous plairont, L'équipe Umami
