The establishment of the Ogawa Seimen Company dates back to 1887 (Meiji era), Ogawa Seimen has been making Soba noodles for nearly 130 years, and always focusing on quality and flavor.
Soba noodles are made with buckwheat flour mixed with water and cut into thin strips. They are cooked in hot water and the Japanese can then choose to eat them hot in a broth or cold after rinsing them in cold water.
Ogawa Seimen produces its Soba using exclusively Japanese buckwheat flour and gives much care and time to the drying stage of the noodle making process to maintain the optimal temperature and humidity conditions necessary to make quality Soba. This is why the Soba made by Ogawa are as tasty as fresh.
