Description : Aso Takana is a Japanese vegetable which seeds can be used to make mustard. To make this product, Aso Takana seeds were not grinded but simply marinated in salt and wine vinegar to preserve their crunchy texture. It is an additive free product (no sugar, no binding agent, no soup stock).
Flavor : Takana seeds have a crunchy texture and reveal their spiciness once chewed. They have a slightly bitter flavor that does not tickle the nose, unlike mustard.
Use : The seeds can be incorporated into a sauce to go with meat or stir fried vegetables. Incorporate them in a dressing sauce for salad or use them to season a fish carpaccio or sashimi. They go well with tofu, fish, oil based dishes and deep fried food, to which they will add a refreshing touch.
Ingredients : Takana seeds (31,75%), wine vinegar (63,50%), salt (4,75%).
Preservation : Keep at room temperature and refrigerate after opening.
