Sencha

Sencha is a high-quality Japanese green tea meaning "brewed tea". It is made from young tea leaves grown in full sunlight, usually harvested during the first or second picking of the season. After being picked, the tea leaves are steamed for a few seconds before being rolled and then dried. Sencha, with its flavors plant-based and rich in umami, is naturally rich in antioxidants, especially in catechins, and helps to strengthen the immune system while also helping to fight against oxidative stress.

Traditionally consumed as a daily beverage and served with meals, it is green tea the most consumed in Japan.
