Description

Sencha is a loose-leaf green tea. This organic sencha comes from tea plantations located in Kagoshima Prefecture and is produced from tea leaves harvested during the second flush. Kagoshima organic sencha is characterized by medium steaming of the tea leaves for 30 to 60 seconds. This steaming process gives it its distinctive flavor and light green color.

A tea with a refreshing, vegetal taste rich in umami with a slight bitterness.
