Description

Awa is the ancient name for the Tokushima region. This artisanal cola is made from three citrus fruits typical of the region: yuzu, yuko, and sudachi. It also contains more than 10 spices and herbs such as cardamom, cinnamon, nutmeg, and Sichuan pepper. It also contains Awa bancha, a traditional, fermented, locally produced tea. The combination of these spices with the region's citrus juices creates a balanced and delicious blend.

Flavor

This artisanal cola has a sweet flavor balanced with spicy notes, which blend very well with the fresh citrus notes and slight astringency of Awa tea.

Conservation

Store at room temperature and away from sunlight. After opening, keep refrigerated.

Bando Foods is a small family business located in the Tokushima prefecture, on the island of Shikoku, where it carefully cultivates exceptional Japanese citrus fruits: yuzu, sudachi and yuko. Its orchards, located between 300 and 400 meters above sea level and covering more than 7,700 m², produce each year approximately 25 tons of fruit. Part of the harvest is sold fresh in Japan, while the other part is processed into products like the pure yuzu and sudachi juices we offer.
