Description

This unexpected fusion of sudachi and cucumber, both produced in Tokushima, results in this fresh and tangy syrup. It contains over 20% sudachi juice, a citrus fruit emblematic of the region that resembles a lime. Combined with the freshness of the sudachi, apple cider vinegar is also used to add sweetness and balance the syrup's sweetness.

Flavor

Sweet, with tangy, fresh citrus notes and a nice cucumber flavor.

Conservation

Store at room temperature and away from sunlight, heat, and humidity. After opening, keep refrigerated.

Usage You can dilute 2 spoonfuls of syrup in a glass of still or sparkling water for a lightly flavored and refreshing drink. This syrup is ideal as a cocktail base or in a fruit salad. It can also be incorporated into dessert recipes, and can be used as a syrup to flavor crushed ice, like Japanese kakigori.

Bando Foods is a small family business located in the Tokushima prefecture, on the island of Shikoku, where it carefully cultivates exceptional Japanese citrus fruits: yuzu, sudachi and yuko. Its orchards, located between 300 and 400 meters above sea level and covering more than 7,700 m², produce each year approximately 25 tons of fruit. Part of the harvest is sold fresh in Japan, while the other part is processed into products like the pure yuzu and sudachi juices we offer. Bando Foods is the one of the few companies in Japan to be certified organic for citrus fruits, from fruit cultivation to production. Thanks to this partnership, we are among the few companies in France to offer organic and 100% pure yuzu and sudachi juices.
