Description

This furoshiki features a work by Sekka Kamisaka, from the "Kingyo Chirashi" motif, with delicate illustrations of goldfish evoking lightness and poetry. A lightweight, flexible, and easy-to-tie cotton fabric square, it can be used to wrap, give, or carry (bottle, bento, book, gift...) and can be reused infinitely. An elegant and durable alternative to disposable packaging.


The artist: Sekka Kamisaka


Born in Kyoto, Sekka Kamisaka studied painting and design with renowned Japanese masters, working on paintings, lacquerware patterns, textiles, and interior decorations. His style, influenced by the Rinpa school and enriched by his travels in Europe and the influence of Art Nouveau, created an original and refined universe, recognized in Japan and in the West. Considered the last great master of the Rinpa school, his works continue to inspire. He was notably featured in Le Monde Hermès, highlighting his lasting influence in art and design.
