Kanoryu
Kanoryu Company was founded in 1969, in the Kaga City, in Ishikawa Prefecture. It is in this region that the Yamanaka lacquer, a traditional Japanese craft. This company specializes in the production of this lacquer, called Yamanaka-nuri, known for its delicate beauty and specific craft techniques. This form of lacquer is often used in a wide range of items, and combines both traditional lacquers produced with wood, as well as synthetic lacquers, made from resin.
