Description

Furikake is a mixture of roasted, salted seaweed and sesame seeds, ground into a powder. It was invented during World War II to enhance Japanese sailors' rice bowls. Very popular in Japan, it comes in many different flavors. This organic furikake is made with organic sesame seeds roasted in soy sauce by the producer, along with red shiso from Wakayama and sea lettuce for a salty flavor. Crunchy and very round in the mouth, this addictive furikake is a condiment that accentuates your dishes.

Crunchy, salty, with a good taste of shiso and a nice length in the mouth.

Conservation

Store in a cool, dry place away from light. Close tightly after opening.
