Used like furikake, these flakes will flavor rice and onigiri, but their uses are much broader: consider sprinkling them on cream cheese or mozzarella with a drizzle of olive oil. The subtle saltiness and fruity aroma of shiso pair very well with fish, pasta dishes, or pizzas, for example. Finally, these flakes will add some pep to your fruit salads.
