Mitsutake Shuzo

Founded in 1688, the Mitsutake Shuzo brewery has perpetuated a simple and strong philosophy for more than three centuries: combine tradition and innovation. Based in Saga Prefecture, it favors exceptional local ingredients, such as Reiho and Yamadanishiki rice, as well as pure water gushing from Mount Tara. Attentive to changing tastes, Mitsutake Shuzo is constantly reinventing itself, creating sakes capable of seducing all palates while preserving traditional brewing methods. For more than fifteen years, it has also produces its own shōchū, made from ingredients grown on its land. Guided by its guiding principle —“Sakes make men”— each member of the brewery puts their know-how and passion into producing vintages that bring joy and conviviality to every sip.
