Use : The nukadoko refill is used to maintain your nukadoko mix if it has a higher water content, if the volume of the nukadoko has decreased, or if it no longer has enough flavor. Add a little salt to the refill (count 1 part salt to 10 parts rice bran) then add it all to your nukadoko and mix well before leveling the surface. Let stand at room temperature for three days, without stirring. On the fourth day, stir the mixture well to allow air to penetrate. The surface can be covered with white yeast, which should also be stirred. Once the mixture no longer has a strong odor, the nukadoko is ready to be used.
