Specializing in the cultivation of umi budo seaweed and the marketing of products made from it, the company places great importance on research. Part of the premises is now dedicated to the study of cultivated umi budo, which has allowed Nihon Biontech to invent a variety of products around this algae in an ideal environment. Nihon Biontech fully participates in the life of Itoman, the locality in which it is located, thanks to various activities.
