Mori Kougei, founded in 1953 in the prefecture of Tokushima, on the island of Shikoku, is a company that has specialized for over 70 years in the wood veneer. Called "tsuki-ita" in Japanese, it is a technique that consists of cutting wood into thin sheets, like paper, with a sharp blade. These different sheets are selected from all over Japan by the company, before being assembled to make furniture, decorative elements and everyday objects.
