Furikake is a Japanese condiment made from seaweed and sesame seeds that is traditionally sprinkled over rice. It was notably used to garnish Japanese sailors' rice bowls during the war, and today it is a staple of everyday Japanese cuisine. Discover wasabi-flavored furikake, another very popular condiment in Japan.
