Founded in 1918 in the Tatsuno City, in the heart of Nagano Prefecture, Hanamaruki has been producing products essential to Japanese culinary art for over a hundred years, such as miso, made from local ingredients that take advantage of the region's richness. The company also produces shiokoji, a traditional seasoning made from fermented rice and salt.
