Curry Tradtitional Japanese curry

Ingredients for 2-3 people

  • 1 onion
  • 2 carrots
  • 2 big potatoes
  • 300g of meat (beef, pork, chicken)
  • 150g of curry

Preparation

1. Dice the onion, carrots and potatoes.

2. In a fry pan, brown the small dices of onion in butter.

3. Once the onion is nicely brown, sear the meat, diced beforehand. Use beef, pork or chicken to taste, with 150g of meat for each person.

4. Add carrots and potatoes and stir fry. 

5. Cover with approximately 800ml of water and cook over medium heat. The preparation should come to a simmer without boiling. Let it simmer for roughly 20 minutes while skimming.  

6. Add approximately 150g of curry and simmer for an additional 20 minutes. Check the doneness of the vegetables and meat with a knife if necessary. 

7. Serve with Japanese rice

8. Use your curry leftovers to make a delicious curry pan, perfect for lunch.
