Description
This Genmaicha tea was developed using toasted “Ichihomaré” rice, a new premium rice variety developed in 2017 with the goal of surpassing Koshihikari in terms of taste and resistance to high heat. This rice is supplemented with carefully roasted soybeans and barley from Fukui Prefecture, all packaged in tea bags. Discover the simple and authentic flavor of this tea, inspired by the Eiheiji Temple, the cradle of Zen Buddhism located in Fukui Prefecture.
Flavor
Warm and toasty aromas, evoking notes of hazelnut and cereals, which blend with the vegetal and subtly sweet freshness of green tea.
