Description
Bancha, or "ordinary tea," is the second most consumed green tea in Japan after Sencha. Prized for its lightness, smoothness, and everyday simplicity, it comes from the same tea plant as Sencha, but harvested later and from the leaves on the lower parts of the tree. This Bancha tea is blended with hojicha (roasted green tea) and carefully roasted soybeans from Fukui. It offers a simple and authentic flavor, inspired by Eiheiji Temple, the cradle of Zen Buddhism located in Fukui Prefecture.
Flavor
Mild and lightly toasted flavor. Beautiful balance between the fresh, vegetal notes of Bancha and the nutty flavors of Hojicha with roasted soybeans.
Conservation
After opening the bag, please consume the tea quickly to fully enjoy the freshness of the tea leaves.
