Description

This koikuchi soy sauce is made from organic soybeans and wheat from Japan and has been matured for two years. Since 1903, Morita has been producing soy sauces using Japanese ingredients, primarily from the Shimane region, where the harsh, long winter is ideal for producing high-quality fermented products such as soy sauces, miso, and sake.

Flavor

Its taste is typical of koikuchi: deep, long, round in the mouth and very rich in umami.

Conservation

Store in a cool, dry place away from light. Keep refrigerated and consume within 3 months.

Morita Shoyu Company is located in Shimane Prefecture in the south of Japan, more specifically at Okuizumo. Located near the famous Shinto shrine, Okuizumo is a place where gastronomic products abound, as the Shimane region—known for its long, harsh winters—is favorable for the production of high-quality fermented products such as soy sauce, miso, or sake. Since 1903, Morita produces soy sauces using Japanese ingredients mainly sourced from this region, and puts great care into crafting these sauces to ensure authenticity and flavor for the consumer.
