Description

This high-quality rice is grown in Japan. It is a brown rice, meaning a whole-grain rice where only the inedible hull of the grains has been removed during milling. It therefore still contains the bran and germ of the rice, which make it more digestible and richer in nutrients such as plant fiber, vitamin B, iron, magnesium, potassium, etc.

Flavor

Fukumaru brown rice has a crunchier texture than white rice and keeps very well.

Conservation

The producer

Agri Yamazaki

"Create from the earth, create from the human," is the motto of Agri Yamazaki since its created in 1996. Concerned about the environment, our rice producer located in the city of Hokota, in the prefecture of Ibaraki, has set up a organic farming which has earned him several awards, including the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries in 1999 and 2009. With the idea of giving back to the rice field what it has given him, Agri Yamazaki resows the bran of his rice after the harvest and thus benefits from a natural and organic fertilizer.
