Description

Furikake is a mixture of roasted, salted seaweed and sesame seeds, ground into a powder. It was invented during World War II to enhance Japanese sailors' rice bowls. Very popular in Japan, it comes in many different flavors. This organic furikake is produced by our sesame farmer with roasted sesame in soy sauce, sea lettuce, and yuzu, which adds refreshing notes. It is additive-free.

Flavor

This furikake has a sweet flavor of toasted sesame and a tangy hint of yuzu. The soy sauce adds a salty and umami note, creating a harmonious balance with the other flavors.
