Description

Unlike classic furikake, red shiso furikake doesn't contain seaweed or fish, but red shiso. Red shiso is a plant from the same family as mint and is often used for its beautiful purple color. It can be used as a topping for all your dishes, just like furikake.

Flavor

A good taste of red shiso, between hibiscus and cinnamon, enhanced by salt, pleasantly acidic and refreshing.

Conservation

Store at room temperature. After opening, close the bag tightly and store away from heat and humidity.

Tanaka Foods

Founded at the beginning of the 20th century in Hiroshima, the Tanaka Foods company specializes in making furikake. At the beginning of the Taisho era, in the 1910s, it launched its first product: the furikake “Ryoko no Tomo accompany you on the trip”. Since then, the company has continued to develop and create various furikake such as furikake in the colors of Hello Kitty or even furikake in small sachets, a first in Japan. Awarded by the Ministry of Health and Labor for the cleanliness of its factories, Tanaka Foods attaches great importance to the health and well-being of its employees but also of its customers and ensures this by using healthy ingredients for the preparation of its furikake.
