What to do in case of litigation with Umami

If no solution can be found out-of-court to solve the problem, you can refer to the consumption mediator in compliance with articles L611-1 à L 641-1 et R 612-1 à R 616-2 of the Consumption Code.

The consumption mediator is neutral, independent, impartial and is not part of the company with whom the consumer has a disagreement. 

Before referring to the consumption mediator, the consumer must have tried to solve the disagreement directly with the company by sending a written reclamation or by any other reclamation method stipulated in the contract made with the company. 

The mediation is an extrajudicial regulation of consumption litigations.

If the conditions are fulfilled, the mediation will work through a specific process according to the applicable texts. This procedure is free for the consumer (R612-1 of the Consumption Code).
