Description: This yuzu based preparation is made exclusively with Kito yuzu imported directly from Japan by Umami. The recipe of this preparation has been developed by Umami in collaboration with Stephan Perrotte, 2015 Jam World Champion. It fully respects the delicate flavor and unique fragrance of the citrus fruit, being neither too sweet nor too sour. Yuzu peels also add a bit of consistency to this fruit preparation with a soft texture. 

Flavor : Fruity, with the great and typical complexity of yuzu between tangerine and citron. A soft texture with peels. 

Use : Delicious on bread or yogurt, this yuzu preparation can be used as a traditional jam in pastries. Very soft and not too sweet, it will also perfectly accompany duck breast fillets or foie gras. You can use this yuzu jam to season or deglaze poultry for example, as you would do with an orange jam.

Ingredients : Yuzu (56%), sugar, lemon juice, fruit pectin.

Preservation : Store in a cool and dry place, away from light. Refrigerate after opening.

The Ogon no Mura company, located in the Tokushima department, produces and distributes citrus juices (yuzu, sudachi) and a wide variety of citrus sauces (ponzu), marmalades, yuzu drinks and syrups.
Ogon no Mura mainly uses yuzus grown in the village of Kito, famous for its fruits of an exceptional quality. One of Ogon no Mura's flagship products distributed by Umami in France is the yuzu juice: in order to produce a high-quality product, yuzus are hand-pressed within 24 hours after harvesting, the extracted juice is then kept cool.
