Description: Transparent soy sauce is made from distilled koikuchi soy sauce. In this version, it has been blended with white truffle oil and black truffle chips. This sophisticated soy sauce combines the deep taste of koikuchi soy sauce with the delicacy of truffle, without coloring your dishes. 

Flavor: Delicate flavor of white truffle, umami and long lasting taste typical of koikuchi soy sauces.

Use: Transparent soy sauce with truffle is the perfect ingredient to enhance your dishes without coloring them. It will pair perfectly with meat based recipes, such as rosbif, but also with cream and egg based dishes such as omelet, baked egg, risotto or pasta dish. It will also make your salad dressing even more delicious.

The Okubo family that produces the transparent soy sauce is located in Kumamoto since the 17th century, even before the construction of the Kumamoto Castle. At first, it was producing sake and especially akazake, the traditional sake of the region. You can find akazake in their Heisei soy sauce. In the same time, they started a currency exchange business. In 1869, the 11th generation of the family reoriented the family business in soy sauce under the brand Fundodai. In 2019, they celebrated their 150 anniversary ! Proud of its history, the coat of arms with the "dai" character of the Okubo family traces its history: firstly, the first character of the Okubo name, but also a reference to its former currency exchange business and finally, the characteristic symbol of the old scales. Fundodai stands out for its aesthetic innovation. Indeed, its amazing transparent soy sauce, made by distilling koikuchi soy sauce, offers a deep taste of traditional soy sauce while bringing a modern and refined aesthetic.
